The Discussion Unit with fixed Microphone is typically used for smaller and medium-sized conferences. Units connect in a simple daisy-chain configuration. Each unit enables participants to speak, register a request-to-speak and listen to the speaker. The unit also accommodates two headphone connections, so the speaker can be heard clearly even in situations with excessive background noise. The built-in loudspeaker is muted when the microphone is on to prevent acoustic feedback. The microphone stem is flexible and units are available in two colors (dark or light grey) and two microphone lengths (short- and long-stem) specified via the part number.
