The Audio Media Interface and Power Supply Unit enables external analog equipment such as broadcast, recording and wired or wireless sound distribution equipment to be connected to the DCN system. This unit is equipped with four digital to analog converters and channel selection switches for selecting the floor language or interpretation channels. The LBB3508 has a built-in power supply which can drive up to 90 additional units. A built-in trunk-line splitter enables it to be connected to the trunk-line at any point, using loop-through cabling. The unit switches on automatically when the main CCU is switched on. It can be used free-standing on a table-top or mounted in a 19" rack.
