— ListenIR solutions offer the best end-to-end assistive listening experience, and are great for classrooms, corporate boardrooms, courtrooms, and wherever private audio signal is needed —
INFOCOMM, ORLANDO, FL, June 17, 2015 — Listen Technologies Corporation (booth 959), a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of assistive listening products for over 16 years, offers contractors and system integrators its complete range of IR solutions (collectively known as ListenIR). From small to large venues, ListenIR systems are built to suit a wide variety of applications and with exceptional coverage. A number of versatile system configurations are available, and custom solutions can be built to meet any unique requirement. Applications include classrooms, corporate boardrooms, courtrooms and wherever private audio signal is needed.
With the recent introduction of several new ListenIR products, the line now consists of the following components: LT-82 Stationary IR Transmitter, LA-140 Stationary Radiator, LT-84 Transmitter/Radiator Combo, LA-141 Expansion Radiator, LR-44 Lanyard 4 channel Receiver, LR-42 Stethoscope 4 Channel Receiver, LR-4200 iDSP IR Receiver and LR-5200 iDSP IR Receiver.
The combination of LT-82 Stationary IR Transmitter and LA-140 Stationary Radiator is designed to serve very large spaces, with up to 40,000 square feet of coverage. The cable length from the LT-82 is a maximum of 1,000 feet. A configuration of LT-84 and LA-141 is designed more for small-to-large spaces, with up to 30,000 square feet of coverage when used with Listen iDSP IR Receivers, or 7,500 square feet when paired with legacy receivers. Cable length from the LT-84 is a maximum of 100 feet.
For venues, the benefits of iDSP IR receivers are obvious. They streamline the care and management process — iDSP IR is easier to care for, store, and distribute than comparable products from other manufacturers. Additionally, since the iDSP IR receiver comes with an integrated neck loop/lanyard (making it compliant with the legislative requirement to provide neck loops for hearing aids with telecoils), the complication and guesswork are taken out of achieving legislative compliance.
There are also benefits for end users: iDSP IR is easier for end users to check out from venues, it’s easier to operate, and it’s easier to wear. Also, iDSP IR receivers can be programmed (using free iDSP software) with unique display names, like Theater, Chapel, Classroom, or more. Additionally, the iDSP software allows venue inventory management and a convenient USB port makes it easy to configure and apply updates.
Together, these offerings represent unparalleled coverage and cost-effective solutions for assistive listening, language interpretation or other wireless audio applications.
